About Me

Thank you for visiting my blog!!  

I am a wife and mother to 3 children Jack (age 10), Henry "aka Hank" (age 8), and Maeve (age 5).

I have been a teacher and social worker for the past 18 years with a focus on working with adults and children with disabilities.  

My work includes: creating strong rapport with my students and their families; developing unique hands-on activities, lessons and programs; and working as part of team to best serve our students.

I believe that best teaching practices include providing all students access to what they need to be successful in their learning journey.  

I have worked as a social worker, a job coach, a social eduction teacher for high school students, and a director for a high school leadership program.
